American Horror Story is returning for a ugly Double Characteristic. FX premiered the official first teaser for the anthology present’s tenth season right this moment, that includes a ballet of horrific proportions and visuals positive to maintain followers unsleeping at night time. The brand new season is about to premiere on FX on August 25, after being delayed a number of instances because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Whereas the teaser comprises no precise footage from the present, it does inform audiences that “two worlds will collide” for “twice the phobia” of a standard season. A typical Space 51-style alien dances with a Nosferatu-looking monster, with visuals of the ocean, lighthouses, and — as common — buckets and buckets of blood interspersed between them. These visuals match that of the present’s promotional poster launched in June, of a feminine creature kissing an alien with a black capsule resting on her tongue.
In keeping with the teaser, the season can be cut up into two components: Pink Tide, which takes place “by the ocean,” and Demise Valley, which takes place “by the sand.” Primarily based on these descriptions and the humanoid creatures within the teaser, is there a chance we may even see creator Ryan Murphy’s tackle sirens, the man-eating villains each sailor fears? Or will we see one thing else — one thing extra sinister, from deeper depths of the ocean? Solely time will inform.
American Horror Story: Double Characteristic stars various returning AHS veterans, together with Billie Lourd, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, and Evan Peters, amongst others, whereas new members Neal McDonough and Macaulay Culkin will even be part of the solid. The primary episode of the season can be titled “Cape Concern”, directed by John J. Grey and written by Murphy and Brad Falchuk.
American Horror Story: Double Characteristic will premiere on FX on August 25, with episodes out there on FX on Hulu the following day.
